Meet the Staff

	Carolyn J. DeForte, DMD is a 1996 graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and graduated at the top of her class. After completing a residency program at Staten Island University Hospital she remained on staff as an attending dentist teaching clinical dentistry and emergency medicine. Dr. DeForte’s post graduate studies include training at the Prestigious Pankey Institute among the top dental professionals in the country.

	Loretta Ingegnere is a Lincroft resident having raised her family in the area for the past 15 years. Loretta has very special people skills which is what keeps her patients coming to her over the course of her twenty something years as a hygienist. Loretta is a perfect fit for DeForte Dentistry as she epitomizes the philosophy of the practice; “We Care for People, Not Just Teeth.” Dr. DeForte knew from the moment her idea of a solo practice was born that Loretta would be an integral part.

	Naomi Nock has been a registered dental assistant for ten years having also completed the necessary requirements for expanded function duties. She also shares her vast knowledge of dentist assisting and x-ray mechanics by teaching part time at NJ School of Dental Assisting. Naomi and Dr. DeForte work so well together, like a well-oiled-machine, each knowing the other’s thoughts and preferences making the patient’s experience in the dental chair not only pleasant but extremely effective. Dr. DeForte hand- picked Naomi in part because of her expertise but also because of her dedication and loyalty to the practice and patients.

	Joelle Marcelli is the first face you see when you walk through the doors at DeForte Dentistry. As the front desk coordinator, Joelle is efficient but more important to Dr. DeForte is that she is a people magnet. Her genuine and caring ways are obvious to the patients both new and seasoned. Our patients count on Joelle to accommodate their scheduling needs and as the facilitator of their insurance claims and questions.

	Gianna Pianoforte is a chair-side assistant just learning the ropes of the profession. She is a quick study, quietly efficient and resourceful. She is a computer genius and is a tremendous asset to the paperless environment of the office as well as in touch with the social media aspect of the world today. Gianna always makes patients feel comfortable with her beautiful smile and easy personality.

	Kathy Stein is the office manager tending to many behind-the-scenes issues. Her combination of dental knowledge and business experience makes her an asset to the practice in many ways. Having worked with Dr. DeForte in the past she enjoys catching up with many long-time patients who now are part of DeForte Dentistry.
